Aloha everyone!  As the new academic year begins, may I encourage each of you to develop your teaching skills, course delivery methods, student organization advisor abilities, and other professional development activities by joining:

1. Hawai‘i Business Education Association (HBEA), your local professional organization

2. National Business Education Association (NBEA)/ Western Business Education Association (WBEA), your national and automatic regional professional organizations

 In addition to networking opportunities, workshops and conferences at membership rates, newsletters, and professional journals (The Business Education Forum, the NBEA Yearbook, and Keying In are free publications provided by NBEA with annual membership), membership provides you with information that affects you as a business educator such as Carl D. Perkins Act legislation.
